WorldDAB is a global industry organisation responsible for defining the standards of the Eureka-147 family which includes DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) and DAB+ for digital radio Digital radio. Based in Geneva with headquarters in London, the goal is to promote the awareness, adoption and implementation of the DAB family of standards around the world. WorldDAB works with sound and data broadcasters, network providers, manufacturers, governments and official bodies to encourage international co-operation and a smooth, coordinated roll-out of services. The membership consists of over 80 companies and organisations around the world which have a stake in seeing digital radio grow to an international mass market medium. They include public and private broadcasters, receiver and electronic equipment manufacturers, car manufacturers, data providers, transmission providers, regulators and government bodies.
